Very pleased. Truely plug and play, set up in a minute. Lightweight and compact. Perhaps the plastic case could be shrunk some? Or silicone sleeved? Mine mounted outside vtol on underside. I would recommend.
I have purchased other "cheap" wifi radio telemetry units for my RC planes in the past, but they did not reliably provide the communication telemetry between my Flight Controller and computer. NOT SO with the Kahuna...once you connect to it's strong WiFi connection, one gets reliable and fast radio communication! I bought 2, and will buy more.
I still haven't receiver it yet! And had to pay an additional $25 in duty fees. At this point I'm not too pleased, still looking forward to evaluating the unit though.

Hi Sam, the unit powered up and was recognized by Mission Planner right away. Perfect, the Kahnua
works as advertised. I look forward to doing range testing in the near furture.

How can perfect be made better? Plug it in, tell pixhawk to use it, it works!
Perhaps add a cable option for pixhawk 2.4.8
This was by far the easiest thing to setup so far when it comes to Ardupilot and our Cube Orange. Truly plug and play. Typing in the wifi password the first time was the longest part of the whole process. Instantly booted up and connected. It just plain works, which is fantastic!!
The device works remarkably well and the integration was very easy.
It showed up in the mail tonight and got it working in 5 minutes with a Cube Orange. Just connect to telem port, set to Mavlink and everything worked.
Very low latency between the multicopter and Mission Planner.
Time to test range later. Right now I only tested on the work bench indoor.
I need to see if I can get it to work with a 4 wire telem cable.
I purchased a couple of these and I can highly recommend. After trying WiFi telemetry with the original Pixracer, I was left disappointed with the range - great for bench setup, but of limited use in the field. The Kahuna changed my mind about WiFi; easy to setup, great quality, and good range. Inexpensive lightweight telemetry that just works.
This was the easiest telemetry module to set up that I have ever had. Very happy with my new Kahuna , thanks
